Kamish Named Official Artist Of Ted Williams Museum And Hitters Hall of Fame

Paul Kamish met with Ted Williams Museum's Executive Director Dave McCarthy in Orlando Florida last week to discuss plans for Kamish's new series; Legends of Baseball. Kamish will create a series of a selected group of Baseball legends that have been inducted into the Ted Williams Hitters Hall of Fame. The inductees have also been inducted into the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown. Kamish plans to create a limited edition series of 20 different inductees and will work directly with Dave McCarthy and the Ted Williams Museum. A large portion of the proceeds will benefit the Museum and its causes. Proceeds will also help to fund the move of the Museum back to Boston. Kamish has also been named the Official Artist of the Ted Williams Museum and Hitters Hall of Fame. Five years ago Kamish presented the Museum with a bronze relief sculpture he did in Ted Williams's likeness. A limited edition was created and is for sale. Authentic Fenway Park infield dirt received from then Red Sox President John Harrington is incorporated into the ground surface of each sculpture. As for the new limited editions, the #1 of each of the 20 editions will hang in the Hitters Hall of Fame and the remaining edition pieces will be available for purchase. The list includes all-time greats such as DiMaggio, Mays, Banks, Aaron, Killebrew and more.
